Wesleyan Church of Fairfield
Pastor Phillip Trent.
The Wesleyan Church of Fairfield was officially organized on December 8, 1997. After meeting in homes and a community center, the congregation purchased property on Route 45 north of Fairfield with a partially constructed building. Construction resumed, finishing the building as a church. The 3335-sq. ft. structure was completed in 1998, and the congregation moved to its current location in April of 1998.
Over the next few years, growth made more space necessary, and the church purchased adjoining property. Ground was broken in October 2006 on a 3800-sq. ft. addition for a new sanctuary. Existing space was then remodeled into Sunday School and fellowship space. The new structure was dedicated on August 26, 2007
Wesleyans believe in one God, who is Father, Son and Holy Spirit, and the Savior of all men and women who put their faith in Him alone for eternal life.
